On May 6, 2020, an American customer customized 5 tons of copper clad aluminum sheets and the production was completed.We packed it for the destination city today.

The aluminum material of the customized copper clad aluminum sheets is aluminum grade 1100. Generally, Grade 1060 and 1100 are the common aluminum materials in the coppe clad aluminum sheet. They are all 1 series aluminum materials, and their performance is very close.The difference is that the aluminum content of 1060 is 99.6%, and the aluminum content of 1100 is 99%.In other words, the aluminum grade 1060 is higher purity and softer, and the aluminum grade 1100 is relatively hard.aluminum grade 1060 is more suitable for power equipment.
There is little difference in performance between 1060 aluminum and 1100 aluminum, but there are still subtle differences:

It can be seen that the difference between the two is small.

There are three major applications of copper-aluminum composite boards: electricity, decoration, and battery materials.

If it is used in the field of power, aluminum is usually aluminum 1060 grade, sometimes aluminum grade 1100. Their conductivity is better.

If it is used in the decoration field, aluminum grade 3003 is usually used for aluminum, which is cheaper and more economical.

If it is applied to lithium battery materials, aluminum grade 1060 is also used.
